A V Ranganath, commissioner of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency ( HYDRAP ), officially inaugurated the expansion work for the lake in Krishna Kanth Park’s Jubilee Hills district on Saturday, October 24.
After performing specific prayers, the Commissioner took the development project in motion. This location formerly housed a 27-acre river. The region eventually became the park’s current name, but the river was reduced to just three acres as a result.
When there is a 5 cm snowfall, places like Krishnanagar, Yousufguda, and the Maitrivanam area in Ameerpet become flooded.
Storm power may be improved by expanding the river. In order to accomplish this, steps have been taken to travel the plants on the site. The Tree Protection Committee’s recommendation for a transplantation near Sunnam Cheruvu, which HYDRAA is developing is approved. These activities are scheduled to start right away.
Additionally, HYDRAA will deepen the lake to greater have the ingress of floodwater. Once the water is full, they will also create retailers to allow the excess water to drain.
A path and slope will be around the lakes. A second one will be constructed in the area in addition to the park’s existing open-air gyms.
Around the cove, seating arrangements are being made. Additionally, a children’s play area and a zoo may been developed, according to HYDRAA.
Unauthorized access to the lake water may be blocked with landscaping.
