A former US Navy commander has suggested UFOs could be lurking beneath the seas.
Retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet – who was also an acting administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) – has expressed his belief that the search for answers relating to UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) must turn to the oceans because there is so much “mystery” in the depths which have been barely explored by humankind.
During an appearance on the Hang Out with Sean Hannity podcast, Gallaudet insisted under water would be the perfect hiding place for UFOs, saying: “If they were to go somewhere basically to not be detected for a period of time … where would you want to go?
“You’d want to go … [to] the most unexplored area of the world, and that’s the ocean.
“We’ve only explored with either drones, buoys, floats, about 10 per cent of ocean volume. So there’s a lot of mystery out there right now.”
Gallaudet went on to reference videos which appear to show unidentified flying objects going in and out of water, saying: “It goes into the ocean, no disturbance …
“I’m aware of another video that shows something similar, but from overhead … so yeah, there’s something that they’ve been able to engineer that we have no idea how to reproduce.”
The news comes just days after the latest unsealing of UFO-related documents by US President Donald Trump’s administration.
The latest batch of UFO files were released by the Pentagon last Friday (23.10.26) and they included a report into an incident involving a high-speed triangle-shaped craft which was spotted over a secret military site in the US.
The UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena) was said to have a 15-foot wingspan and a top speed of 1,800 miles per hour and was witnessed by two federal law enforcement agents at a secret military site in Western America.
The two anonymous observers are described as having “extensive operational experience working alongside government agencies”.
They claimed the craft was “matt black triangular shaped” and was as “fast as a fighter jet” as it climbed to 200-200 feet above the ridge line of a canyon and then entered a “stable hover” for an estimated 20 seconds before shooting off in a horizontal flight.
The observers compared the UFO to a delta-wing drone and claimed it had a wingspan of between nine and 15ft (2.75 to 4.5m) while they are said to have calculated its speed to be around 1,800 miles per hour.
They also suggested the craft was silent as there was “no detectable acoustic signature”.
