Hyderabad: A lady and two men, who she allegedly had a relationship with, were detained on suspicion of murdering her husband in Kamareddy city of Telangana, according to police on Sunday, November 1.
On October 23rd, Chakali alias Gummadi Kasiram ( 26 ) was discovered dead in a lake on the outskirts of Hanmajipet village. Police filed a case for suspicious death under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita ( BNSS) in response to a complaint from his father.
Following the preliminary post-mortem statement and other evidence that Kasiram had been killed, the case was changed to death.
A unique team led by Kamareddy Superintendent of Police M. Rajesh Chandra was set up to look into the case. On October 30th, police detained the three accused using CCTV footage, professional information, and local knowledge.
According to police, Kasiram’s wife Savitha ( 23 ) allegedly confessed to plotting the murder over her relationship with Chintakindi Ramu and Pasupula Santosh during questioning.
The two gentlemen allegedly took Kasiram out for a sip on October 23. Ramu supposedly murdered him while Santosh held his hands while he was intoxicated. The system was then dumped in the Pacheru Cheruvu lakes in an effort to eliminate the evidence.
