A university student with little tech experience is turning his AI know-how into a growing business, coaching small business owners and others on how to use the technology in everyday life.
Ansh Punia ditched his factory job and now earns between $15,000 and $25,000 per month coaching AI full time.
“I help businesses and regular people. I ask them what is the most time consuming thing they have to do at work or in their everyday life, and they tell me their problems,” Mr Punia to NewsWire.
“I make a plan of how to integrate AI and remove the task so they can save money and a lot of time.”
Mr Punia said small business owners mostly wanted help to automate processes to boost productivity and do menial tasks, while everyday folk were mostly looking for help with personal training and fitness goals.
He said being an AI coach was often more complicated than just referring to ChatGPT, but most things could easily be connected to an AI tool.
“I integrate the most basic AI tool with their fitness plan, which creates a plan based on their (body dimension measurement), preferences and what they want to achieve,” he said.

Mr Punia said one of the most important things AI could help people with was their finances.
He said he links it with this bank account to monitor his expenses and income, and work out where he is wasting money. He even uses it to help with his taxes.
“It’s saved me a lot of money in accounting fees. I could not believe it, it was amazing,” he said.
Airtasker chief executive officer Tim Fung said people were turning to their platform for help to setup AI tools.
“Most people have heard of ChatGPT and other AI tools, but they’re only scratching the surface of what they can actually do,” he said.
“An AI coach can show you how to use the technology to save time, cut costs, help you start a business, and so much more.”

Mr Fung said people were beginning to realise AI could do far more than answer questions and draft emails, using it instead to plan weekly meals, slash household bills and coordinate family schedules.
“Essentially project manage your life,” he said.
“Businesses are looking at how they can use AI to take care of time-consuming jobs like sorting employee expenses or summarising emails, to free themselves up to focus on growing their business.
“AI is opening up a whole new world of opportunities for people to learn skills and take on things they might never have attempted before.”

Mr Fung said there was no limit to how much people could earn being an AI coach.
“What I love about Airtasker is that if you’ve got a skill someone else needs, you can turn that into an income, whether that’s a side hustle or a full-time business,” he said.
“We’re seeing AI create entirely new ways for people to earn money. A few years ago, most people wouldn’t have imagined paying someone to teach them how to use AI in their everyday life. Now we’ve got people building businesses around it.”
