BANNER SEEKS INFO ON 4 WANTED TERRORISTS
In a separate development, a banner seeking information about four wanted terrorists appeared on a wall of Pratap Park in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk area on Sunday morning.
It named Mohammad Lateef Bhat, Bilal Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Umar Mir and Abid Qayoom Lone.
Bhat, a Kulgam resident, is wanted in connection with the killing of a policeman in Anantnag in July this year. Officials said he was active in the Kashmir Valley, while the other three, all from Baramulla district, were believed to be operating from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The banner offered a reward for credible information about their movements or whereabouts and assured informants that their identities would remain confidential.
