A Class 10 student collapsed and died at a private school in Andhra Pradesh’s Ambedkar Konaseema district on Thursday, triggering shock and grief among her family members and classmates.
The victim, a resident of Pasalapudi village, who was studying in Class 10 at a private school in Ramachandrapuram town.
According to school authorities, the student suddenly lost consciousness while attending classes and collapsed inside the school premises. School staff immediately rushed her to the Ramachandrapuram Area Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.

Preliminary medical opinion suggests that the girl may have died due to a suspected cardiac arrest. However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed after further examination.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
In July 2025, a similar incident was reported in Rajasthan when a nine-year-old girl died of a heart attack while she was opening her lunch box at school in Sikar, officials said Wednesday. The victim was a student of class 4 at Adarsh Vidya Mandir School. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, around 11 am, during the school’s lunch break.
