Hammond Park locals are being urged to search their front and back yards for a man with disabilities who has been missing since Friday.

Aoto Konagai, 30, was last seen about 6pm on May 2 at a home on Barfield Road in Hammond Park.

Mr Konagai wasn’t found after an extensive search on Saturday, but police think he might still be in Hammond Park or surrounding suburbs.

Police are urging locals to search their properties, especially their front and backyards, for Mr Konagai.

Mr Konagai is about 170cm tall, with a medium build, olive complexion, short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, navy-blue track pants and possibly grey sneakers.

Mr Konagai is non-verbal and has been diagnosed with medical conditions.
