Coppa Italia finalists Bologna have missed the chance to move back up into the Champions League places after being held to a frustrating 0-0 draw in their Serie A match at Udinese.

The home side – looking to end a run of five straight league defeats – hit the crossbar early on through Keinan Davis with Bologna seeing a 25-yard strike from Riccardo Orsolini also rattle the woodwork in the second half.

Bologna – who last week completed a 5-1 aggregate win over Empoli to reach a first Coppa Italia final since 1974, where they will play AC Milan – sit in fifth place, now a point behind Juventus.

Lazio fought back from 2-0 down with a brace from veteran Spanish winger Pedro to draw 2-2 with Parma at the Stadio Olimpico and keep themselves in the hunt for European qualification.

Jacob Ondrejka had himself scored twice – striking at the start of each half – to seemingly put Parma in control only for Pedro to hit two goals in the space of five minutes to complete a late comeback which leaves Lazio in seventh, level on points with rivals Roma and one behind Bologna.

Cagliari boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 win at fellow relegation battlers Hellas Verona, who finished with 10 men after a late red card for defender Daniele Ghilardi.
