Residents of South West are being issued an emergency alert after a fire that is raging west of Donnybrook, with emergency services advising residents that lives and homes are in danger.

South of South Western Highway, which is bounded by the Munda Biddi Trail and Gavins Road, is now subject to a fire evacuation warning.

If the neighborhood is safe, people in the area are urged to leave right away, moving especially in the eastward direction of Donnybrook.
