Three men faced court on Saturday after a coward’s punch attack outside a Canning Vale brewery left a man with serious facial injuries.

The incident unfolded around 10pm on Friday night.

Police claim the trio and a 24-year-old man became involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical in the car park of The Last Local on Nicholson Road, Canning Vale.

It is alleged two of the men punched the victim in the face, and the other accused then allegedly pushed him, causing him to fall backwards and strike his head on the ground.

The man was rendered unconscious, and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious facial and head injuries.

Armadale detectives located the three accused at a house in Canning Vale a short time later.

Two men aged 18 and 27 from Canning Vale, and a 31-year-old man from Gosnells, were charged with grievous bodily harm.

They appeared in Northbridge Magistrates Court on Saturday, with one of the men granted bail.
