Transport and logistics company Centurion has booked a five-year deal with Australia Post, over freight delivery across three Western Australian regions.

Centurion today announced it will transport parcels and mailbags, consolidating the deliveries into its existing transport runs, between Perth and regional post offices in Central WA, the Goldfields and the North West.

The service will cover direct deliveries to the regional post offices and handling returns to Perth from regional towns including Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Geraldton, Port Hedland, Broome and Kununurra.

Based at Perth Airport, Centurion is the transport and logistics subsidiary of the CFC Group run by the Cardaci family.

Centurion chief executive Justin Cardaci said the company’s roots were in regional WA.

“We’ve built our network over five decades to deliver safely, reliably, and regularly to even the most remote parts of the state,” he said.

“Working with Australia Post is a great fit because it allows us to continue doing what we do best—serving regional communities.”

The agreement had been in place since mid-March, Centurion said in its announcement.

Centurion’s experience in regional transport in WA was a significant advantage when we worked through the selection process,” Australia Post network operations executive general manager Rod Barnes said.
