As the Delhi assembly polls draw closer, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has sharpened its attack on the rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by releasing a new AI-generated clip.

In the fresh clip, posted on the party’s official Instagram handle, BJP leaders including Ramesh Bidhuri, Parvesh Verma, Virendra Sachdeva and Amit Shah have been portrayed as “goons”.

Taking reference from the 1998 film “Gunda”, the Arvind Kejriwal-led outfit presented BJP MLA candidate from Kalkaji Ramesh Bidhuri as a goon. “Mera naam hai Ramesh Bidhuri, gaali bakoon puri” (My name is Ramesh Bidhuri, I use abusive languages), said the voiceover added to it.

Moreover, BJP candidate from New Delhi Parvesh Verma was portrayed as another “goon”, with the voiceover, “Mera naam hai Parvesh, roz karta hoon kalesh” (My name is Parvesh, I engage in quarrels daily).

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva was also showcased as a miscreant, with the voiceover, “Mera naam hai Sachdeva, khata hoon satta ka meva” (My name is Sachdeva, I enjoy power).

Additionally, Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah’s portrayal as a “goon” was teamed with a voiceover that said, “Mera naam Amit hatela. Dost mera Ambani ka chela. Loot raha maal akela” (My name is Amit Hatela, my friend is a disciple of Ambani. We are looting money alone).

At last, former Delhi CM and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal was shown as the “hero of poors”. The Delhi assembly poll is to be held in a single phase on February 5, with the vote counting scheduled for February 8.

Here’s how netizens reacted

“Aise vote milenge” (Is this how you will gain votes?), an user asked.

Another user commented, “Saare gunde BJP mein hain kya?” (Are all the goons in BJP?)

Many others praised the video. One of them wrote, “Hahhahaha….best editing”.

Another commented, “Editor bhai ko salaam” (Hats off to the editor).
