Tesla, the US EV automaker, denied the media report claiming that the company “had contacted recruitment firms to initiate a CEO search”. Tesla refuted the claims through its X handle, saying, “This is absolutely false (and this was communicated to the media before the report was published).”
Tesla further said that the CEO of Tesla is Elon Musk and the Board is highly confident in his ability to continue executing the exciting growth plan ahead.

When asked if AI development across the world needs regulations, Musk said that every field must have referees for checks and balances. He said “too many regulations” would hinder progress, using the metaphor of a game where too many referees would make it harder to play.
