Could Colombian actress Sofia Vergara and British racing champ Lewis Hamilton be a new power couple?
The 52-year-old TV star has been spotted catching up with the Formula One driver for lunch at a New York City restaurant.
In images published on TMZ, the pair could be seen enjoying a meal with friends and then emerging from the venue together.
Footage released by the outlet shows the two stars appearing all smiles outside the restaurant as they waited for their rides and shared small talk, before Vergara was whisked away in a black SUV.
Dressed somewhat casually in sunglasses, a black top and white trench coat, restaurant onlookers said the Colombian beauty appeared engaged in conversation with Hamilton to the point she barely touched her meal.
The Brit, who is often sighted sporting trendy fits on race day, was seen in washed denim jeans, a brown coat and a furry bucket hat.
Moving to the US in the late 90s, Vergara has enjoyed a career as a model and actress, with her role as Gloria on the hit TV series Modern Family her most popular work.
Married twice, Vergara said her divorce from actor Joe Manganiello in 2023 was due to him wanting children.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” she told El Pais in early 2024.
“I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”
The mother shares a 19-year-old son Manolo with her first husband Joe Gonzalez whom she married in 1991 and divorced in 1993.
She was also previously engaged to American businessman and actor Nick Loeb in 2012, with their engagement called off in 2014.
Hamilton has also been linked to several famous faces since his career took off, highlighted by his seven-year romance with Pussy Cat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger which ended in 2015.
Models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, singer Rita ora, and rapper Nicki Minaj have all been rumoured love interests of the F1 superstar.
The British racer will make his Ferrari debut at Melbourne Park in March for F1’s first racing weekend, after saying goodbye to a successful 12-year career at archrival Mercedes.
