Hayley Erbert feels “really strong” after surviving her health scare.

The dancer was rushed to hospital in December 2023 after suffering bleeding in her skull, and after undergoing emergency surgery, Hayley now feels back to her old self.

The brunette beauty – who is married to dancer Derek Hough – told E! News: “I’m doing great now.

“I feel really strong, really healthy. I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into this world five months ago, so I feel really, really amazing.”

Hayley – who has Everley, five months, with Derek – is loving the challenges of motherhood.

Hayley said: “She’s giggling, she’s smiling, grabbing her toes, she’s in happy baby position. Every day is something different, something new. It’s been incredible.”

Hayley is also keen to share her experiences with other moms.

The dancer explained: “I always want to share things that I think people can relate to.

“I know a lot of mothers that I spoke to personally, they went through a similar journey. I just want to be able to share this and to let anybody feel a little less alone in this process.”

In April, Hayley took to social media to discuss her experiences of motherhood.

Alongside some snaps of her baby girl, Hayley explained: “Motherhood is even more complex and contradicting than I could have ever imagined. It feels like living in two places at once. Where joy and heartache can both be true, all of the time. My heart is constantly bursting open, while also breaking into a million pieces.

“I find myself celebrating every little bit of your growth, while quietly grieving the version of you that existed just moments before. So excited for all the “firsts” and the life ahead of you/us, yet wishing I could freeze time and never have any “lasts”. It’s the most beautiful contradiction. This pull between holding on and letting go, between wanting time to slow down and knowing it never will.

“If this is the dichotomy of motherhood, then I’ll try my best to meet it with open arms. Soaking in every little detail, every version of you, every fleeting moment we have together. I love being your mom. I love you beyond, Everley. I have truly never felt a love like this. [heart emoji] (sic)”
