Janhvi Kapoor’s Cannes 2025 look was a dazzling collision of Indian craftsmanship and red-carpet glamour—complete with a back-draped necklace and a satin train.

Janhvi Kapoor turned heads at the 78th Festival de Cannes with her most opulent red carpet look yet—an ethereal custom creation by Anamika Khanna. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the ensemble was a seamless blend of couture craftsmanship and heritage Indian detailing, serving up a dramatic yet graceful moment at the premiere of Homebound.

For the event, Janhvi donned a couture gown featuring a sculpted corset bodice in antique gold. Rich with intricate aari and zardozi embroidery, sequin accents, and delicate beadwork, the structured top hugged her form with precision, boasting spaghetti straps, an asymmetric neckline, and a daring backless cut that extended gracefully to her lower back.

The bodice melted into a pastel sage green satin skirt that cascaded into a soft A-line silhouette. Embellished with fine thread embroidery and delicate pleats at the waist, the skirt pooled into a majestic train—bringing movement and grandeur to every step she took.
