The police has registered a murder case against the son, and an investigation is currently underway

A 25-year-old man in Maharashtra’s Dhule district has been arrested for allegedly killing his mother after she failed to prepare a meal for him, police reported on Sunday. The incident occurred on May 24 night in Wathode village, Thalner area.
According to the officials, victim Tipabai Pawara, 65, prepared a fish meal for his son, Awlesh, and went off to sleep in their shanty. Attracted by the smell of fish, a stray dog entered the house and ruined the meal.

Awlesh, allegedly intoxicated, returned home late and found the meal unappetizing. He demanded that his mother, Tipabai, get up and cook a fresh meal for him, according to the police official.
Citing their investigation, the police said that when Tipabai did not respond, her drunk son got angry and smashed a wooden stick on her head.
Later on Sunday morning, Awlesh woke up and saw his mother lying motionless. He called his relatives, who rushed to their place and found the elderly woman dead with a severe head injury.
After being alerted, police took Awlesh into custody.
The Thalner police station has registered a murder case against the son, and an investigation is currently underway, according to the official.
