Inside Delhi Haat at INA Metro Station (Pink Line side), there’s a popular momos stall known as Matka Momos. It’s often buzzing with food lovers. Speaking to the Local18 team, Naveen, a staff member at the stall, shared that the idea of Matka Momos came from his boss, Dev Anand, a renowned chef from Mumbai. These unique momos were launched just two months ago, and a second outlet has already opened in Kalkaji, with plans to expand to more metro stations across Delhi.
What Makes Matka Momos Special?
According to Naveen, Matka Momos were specially introduced for the summer season. The momos are served in a flavourful gravy inside an earthen pot (matka), which not only retains heat but is also known for its health benefits. The use of the pot enhances the dish’s taste, making it even more enjoyable. This unique presentation and earthy flavour have quickly made the momos a crowd favourite. Currently, they are available in two variants, Veg and Paneer, with prices starting at just Rs 99.
Location And Timings
The stall operates daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and is located inside INA Metro Station. The prices are pocket-friendly, and the taste is something you shouldn’t miss.
