People with psychotic faculties are more appealing to women.
Researchers from Hunan Normal University in China discovered recently that men with psychotic traits are more attractive to the other sex.
Over 500 people were asked to rate the people according to their elegance and integrity when they were shown photos of men with varying degrees of Dark Triad traits, including selfishness, perfectionism, and psychopathy.
The findings revealed that women perceived the images of the men with high Black Triad traits as more reliable and interesting.
Dr. Qi Wu, the study’s author, said that “individuals with large Black Triad characteristics tend to encourage more trust in short-term collaborative settings.”
This is largely due to being perceived as more interesting based on their physical capabilities.
