The prestigious venue is all set to host fashion’s biggest night – the MET Gala 2025, on Monday. Some of the biggest names in fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy will be under one roof at this fundraising gala. The MET Gala 2025 will pay a powerful tribute to Black fashion with its theme – ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.’

When Is The Met Gala 2025?
Met Gala is all set to take place on Monday, May 5, with the Met’s grand halls once again transforming into a runway on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The Met Gala stands as one of the most exclusive events in the fashion calendar, serving as a fundraiser for the Costume Institute at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Vogue’s Anna Wintour has led the event’s curation and guest list since 1995, keeping its reputation as an invitation-only spectacle. That said, reports suggest individual tickets are priced at $75,000, with table reservations starting at $350,000.

Vogue will take charge of the official livestream for the Met Gala 2025.Fans can tune in to Vogue’s YouTube channel. The livestream kicks off at 6:00 PM ET on Monday, which is 3:30 AM IST on Tuesday, May 6.
About MET Gala 2025
This year’s theme supports the Costume Institute’s upcoming exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, opening May 10 through October 26. The show delves into how fashion has shaped Black identity across the Atlantic diaspora, with a particular spotlight on the aesthetics of Black dandyism. Curated by Andrew Bolton and guest curator Monica Miller of Barnard College, the exhibit pays tribute to the cultural depth of tailoring and style within the Black community. In keeping with the exhibition’s focus on menswear, the dress code – ‘Tailored for You’ – encourages guests to interpret the theme in personal and imaginative ways.
Indian Celebrities At the Met Gala 2025
Mom-to-be Kiara Advani is all set to flaunt her baby bump in a Gaurav Gupta creation. This will make her debut at the Met Gala. Amidst this, Shah Rukh Khan will also make his debut in a Sabyasachi ensemble. Diljit Dosanjh will also be walking the red carpet. Priyanka Chopra will attend the gala for the fifth time in a Balmain haute couture creation.
