Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan sledged West Indies batter Kevin Sinclair during Day 2 of the first Test between the two teams at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan on Saturday, January 18. Pakistan completely dominated West Indies as they finished day leading by 202 runs in the second innings.
They were earlier bundled out for 230 in the first innings but stormed their way back into the game courtesy of sensational spells from their spin-twins Noman Ali and Sajid Khan. West Indies batters had no answer to their vicious spin as they were reduced to 42/6 in 11.2 overs.

As Noman Ali dismissed Kevin Imlach to claim the sixth wicket of the innings, Sinclair walked to the crease and was sledged by Rizwan. In a video going viral on social media, Rizwan can be heard saying, “Yeah brother, come to the graveyard. You enjoying the bowling brother,” as he welcomed Sinclair to the crease.

Coming back to the action on Day 2, Pakistan resumed their first innings on 143/4 with Saud Shakeel (56*) and Rizwan (51*) at the crease. The duo extended their partnership to 141 before Sinclair got rid of Shakeel for 84. Following his dismissal, the Pakistan lower order perished against the spin duo of Sinclair (2/61) and Jomel Warrican (3/69) and were bundled out for 230. Rizwan also departed for 71 as he got trapped in front of the stumps by Sinclair.
Noman Ali picks up 7th five wicket haul
However, despite being bowled out cheaply, Pakistan managed to take a significant first innings lead of 93 runs as Noman Ali picked up his seventh wicket haul in Tests. The left-arm spinner registered figures of 5/39 and was well-supported by Sajid Khan who also picked up 4/65.
As a result, the duo ran through the West Indies’ batting order and bundled them out for just 137. Having taken a massive 93-run lead, Pakistan got off to a good start in the second innings with their captain Shan Masood scoring a half century (52 off 70). They finished the day on 109/3 leading West Indies by 202 runs with Kamran Ghulam (9*) and Saud Shakeel (2*) at the crease.
