Till now, four CCTV footage of the suspected attacker have been gathered by Mumbai Police and efforts are on to trace him
The investigation into the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has entered the third day and the suspect is at large as over 30 Mumbai Police and Crime Branch teams continue to trace his movement and speak to sources to get a hold of him.
In these last three days, a number of images and four CCTV footage of the suspect have emerged which have confirmed his presence at different locations post the brutal attack on the actor.

Here is the timeline of the suspect’s movement on January 16 – the day of the attack – on the basis of the CCTV footage.
1:37 AM: The attacker was seen entering Saif Ali Khan’s house using stairs.
2:33 AM: He left the apartment using the staircase after stabbing Saif six times.
7:05 AM: The attacker was seen close to the Dadar Railway Station.
9:04 AM: The attacker reached a mobile store to purchase headphones in Dadar.
Here’s How Suspect Fled From Crime Scene
Adding this CCTV footage collected so far, here is the chronology in which the suspected fled from the apartment of the actor.
- The suspect attacked the actor at his residence in the ‘Sadguru Sharan’ building.
- After the attack, the suspect took the auto and fled to Bandra Railway Station, as per the sources.
- From Bandra, he travelled to Dadar.
- After arriving at Dadar, he went to a mobile shop.
- From there he went to Dadar Terminal and took the train running towards Palghar, as per the sources.
The police have been trying to track the suspect using CCTV footage and other sources. The track records of nearly 2000 mobile towers are being checked by the police.
As per the doctors, Khan is doing well and has been moved from ICU to a normal room. He is on a normal diet and will be discharged in a day or two.
The actor underwent multiple surgeries in which a 2.5-inch part of a knife was removed from his back.
