Comedian Samay Raina sidestepped questions regarding a potential comeback of his show India’s Got Latent. During his first public appearance at a show premiere in Mumbai on Tuesday, Raina tactfully avoided answering when a paparazzo asked, “When is the show returning?” His reaction was captured in a video that has since gone viral online.
On Tuesday night, Raina attended the premiere of the web series Hai Junoon. Dressed casually, the comedian interacted warmly with fans and photographers. When one of them asked, “Bhai, show kab wapis aa rahi hai?” (Bro, when is the show coming back?), Raina responded with a cheeky “Arey,” followed by laughter. Moments later, his friend intervened and led him away from the scene.

In another clip from the event, a photographer can be seen asking Raina about Hai Junoon. Once again, he steered clear of giving a direct answer. Instead, he replied with his trademark wit: “I haven’t watched the series. I had gone out for a workout at the gym. This is my friend, and I just came in with him. I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

On May 13, Raina officially announced his comeback tour, which will cover Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The tour kicks off on June 5 and will conclude on July 20. Sharing the announcement, he wrote, “The most testing time of my life makes for the best comedy. See you on the tour.”
Earlier this year, Samay Raina was embroiled in controversy following podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s problematic remarks during an episode. FIRs were filed against Ranveer, Samay, and others present during the recording.
