The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that it will listen to a plea seeking a probe into the Pahalgam terror attack. The plea demands that the probe be led by a retired judge.
The attack resulted in the loss of 26 lives, mostly tourists.

The plea, filed by Mohammad Junaid, a resident of Kashmir, along with Fatesh Kumar Sahu and Vicky Kumar, also seeks directions from the Supreme Court to the Central government and the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir to ensure the protection of tourists in the region.
The matter is scheduled to be heard before a bench comprising Justices Surya Kant and N. Kotiswar Singh.
