Race 1
3. Flashy Icon is very honest and bursting to win another race, well placed fourth-up dropping in grade. Has run into the money in all three runs this prep as the distances have risen, and can peak fourth-up over a shade further from the inside draw. Further boosted with one of the early market rivals being preferred at Sunday’s Hawkesbury meeting. 4. Jimmy Manolo is each way value also back from tougher provincial company fourth-up. 5. Billabong Alvin is the best of the rest coming off a dominant Class 1 win.
How to play it: Flashy Icon to win.
Race 2
2. Tigletta is ready to break through second-up after missing narrowly in a deeper maiden at Wyong. Yet to miss a place in four runs, from the strong Bjorn Baker stable at Warwick Farm, and drawn to get cover right behind the speed. Scratched from Nowra on Sunday to be saved for this. 4. Mind Ya Bizz resumes for only his second start off two trials for a leading provincial yard and gets in light after the jockey’s claim. 1. One Run Won is a stablemate of the top selection and a second-up improver back at country level. Big gap to the rest.

Race 3
13. Inyun is an emerging country filly which charged home on debut in a better maiden at Narromine. Best weighted runner, with an extra 100m a further plus, and this is a weak line-up. 11. La Chaperron is a local mare which finished off well here first-up for 27 weeks. 4. Delago Serg is over the odds back significantly in trip off an 11-week break from a low draw, having finished in the money in five straight runs up to 2000m. 1. All Exceed, second up over further, and 8. Aquilino, deep in to the campaign, can both run into the minor money at good odds.
How to play it: Inyun to win.
Race 4
2. Extravagant Choice is a tough Canberra six-year-old which can overcome a significant drop in trip 17 days between runs. Swept home to win a weaker BM 74 over the mile three starts back before not far away in his last couple when pushed up to 2000m. Less depth here, and with any decent tempo on, he can produce a superior finishing surge. 6. Tommy Flyer is the more fancied stablemate of the top selection having won two straight before boxing on well in a much deeper Saturday Class 3 Highway. That form reads well for this, but wouldn’t be taking too short a price from a tricky draw. 3. Tavolo is hard fit, and is a big market watch if he backs up in three days from a torrid run in a tougher Federal at Canberra. 7. Pariah Engagement charged home to win a provincial BM 64 two starts ago before being well beaten in a smarter field at Wyong, while 5. Astunner is the best of the rest from a low draw.
How to play it: Extravagant Choice to win.
Race 5
4. Burrowa is a progressive Canberra six-year-old with more than enough ability to strike third-up from a soft draw over 100m further in what is a wide and open race. Ridden too close when failing to hit the line first-up on an unsuitable circuit before settling midfield and hitting the line late at the Sapphire Coast. Gets a 2.5kg weight drop after the jockey’s claim and importantly drawn to get cover off speed. 11. Jazz All Knight dug in hard from the front to hold off the top selection last start. 14. Star Bling returns for her first run since early winter if she gets a start and has a solid fresh record. 3. Starlink at big odds can add value into trifecta and first fours. 10. Naval Officer is also some value at double figure odds back in grade fourth-up.
How to play it: Burrowa to win.
Race 6
4. Think I’m Irish is a consistent enough mare which can pounce at big odds coming back a furlong in distance on a seven-day back-up. Hasn’t missed a place in her last three, including a deeper affair at Muswellbrook, and drawn to find a handy trail just off speed. 5. Take The Chance is a big threat third-up after only missing by a long head at Narromine in a race run in record time. 3. Rotho Bro has placed in two of his last three and will find this a shade easier than last start. Watch the market on 1. Astrogazer resuming off a long break and two soft trials, with multiple gear changes; while 10. Eilrahc is trained on the course and the best of the rest third-up.
How to play it: Think I’m Irish to win.
Race 7
13. Magic Speed is best placed here to win a very open closer, getting back on to firmer ground fourth-up. Disappointed as a hot favourite in similar company two starts back before only holding her ground in a Class 2 at Canberra. Drawn to get the right run in a race of less quality and wants firm ground. 2. Cumboogle is well over the odds first-up off a winning trial from a nice gate and with a 3kg claimer aboard. 7. Ditterich gets a significant jockey change. 10. Aegipan steps up from consecutive wins in much weaker company, while 12. Feimazuo is a resuming home track mare with ability who can run into the minor money.
How to play it: Magic Speed to win.
