Ange Postecoglou says he is “falling out of love with football” a day after he criticised the role of video reviews in the game.
It contributed to the second half having 12 minutes of stoppage time.
Postecoglou also created a stir by making a ‘cupped ear’ gesture towards Spurs fans, who had chanted “you don’t know what you’re doing” when he replaced Lucas Bergvall with Sarr in the 64th minute.
But after Sarr scored what appeared to be an equalising goal within five minutes, Postecoglou responded in a manner which was interpreted widely as him snapping back at his critics.

“My mistake was celebrating a goal, VAR defeated me again. I won’t be doing that again,” Postecoglou said a day after the loss to Chelsea.
“Everyone says, ‘They came to the right to decision’.
“If that’s what people want, let’s continue. I don’t like it. I am falling out of love with the game because I love celebrating goals.
“Last night I did and I’m paying a massive price for it. I’ll make sure I don’t do it again but I reckon that’s kind of sad. Isn’t that sad?”
Postecoglou added: “There was 12 minutes of extra time last night. VAR was not brought in last month. It has been here for a long time and it is still taking 12 minutes?
“I am the lone voice. I don’t hear anyone else saying it. That’s why I am sat here and saying maybe I am disconnected. I don’t think anyone else cares. We’re just so accepting.”
Tottenham’s loss to Chelsea adds to the pressure on Postecoglou, with the club sitting 14th on the Premier League standings.
