A man has been shot in Sydney’s west after two masked men broke into his home during the night.
The 60-year-old was found with a gunshot wound at his home on Boronia St in South Wentworthville at about 9.10pm on Sunday.
Police officers were told two men wearing balaclavas had entered the home and shot the man before fleeing the scene.
The man was rushed to hospital in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have established a crime scene at the home and are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
