Prime Video India has announced the release date of its upcoming investigative thriller Raakh, starring Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir in pivotal roles. Directed and executive-produced by Prosit Roy, the series is set to premiere in June.
The streaming platform unveiled June 12 as its release date, along with a new poster, featuring Fazal in a police uniform, standing over a dead body with a troubled expression. Sharing the artwork, Prime Video wrote, “Buried truths always find their way back. New series, June 12 (sic).”

What is Raakh about?
According to the official synopsis, Raakh is an investigative drama that delves into the criminal mind and the darkness hidden beneath the surface of everyday life. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of two teenagers, an incident that leaves a close-knit family devastated and an entire city on edge.
As a determined investigating officer launches a nationwide search for answers, the case gradually draws him into a disturbing world marked by violence, trauma and the darker facets of human behaviour.
The series features dialogues by Ayush Trivedi and is produced by Deepak Dhar, Rishi Negi, Mrinalini Jain and Shyam Rathi under the banner of Endemol Shine India in association with BhaDiPa.
Led by Fazal, Bendre and Bashir, Raakh will begin streaming on Prime Video from June 12.
