A 14-year-old motorcycle rider is fighting for his life in hospital after a collision during an event in Victoria’s west on Saturday morning.
The boy was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash at the Horsham Motorcycle Club’s Dooen track.
“Emergency services responded to a motorcycle incident in Dooen,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“It is believed the rider came off his motorbike at a motocross complex on the Henty Highway about 10am.”
The Horsham Motorcycle Club said they believed the boy was injured when his bike collided with another motorcycle after completing a jump.
The Victorian Junior State Titles are being held at the track this weekend.
The teenager remains in a critical condition in hospital.
