Bengaluru: In response to intense lobbying from group leaders seeking governmental beds, designated Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has begun sessions on government establishment a moment after being chosen to lead the Congress Legislature Party and invited to form the government.
Security at Shivakumar’s residence in Sadashivanagar has been considerably increased as the country’s second chief minister is expected to take the oath of office. There have been numerous officers personnel deployments, and party employees and open employees have had limited access.
A constant stream of mature Congress leaders, former legislators, and former ministers have arrived at his residence to congratulate him and push their claims for positions in the new government, making it the state’s new political hotspot.
Past officials MB Patil, Santosh Lad, Priyank Kharge, Madhu Bangarappa, KH Muniyappa, and TB Jayachandra were just a few people who stopped by the designated CM. Additionally, Shivakumar and Ashok Pattan, KY Nanjegowda, Ashok Pattan, and Ganesh Hukkeri met during the day.
As the demand for government positions grows, Shivakumar is scheduled to travel to New Delhi on Monday to meet with the Congress’s top leadership about the structure of his first cabinet and the swearing-in ceremony. According to sources, the management will decide how many ministers may be tapped for the first phase and how evenly distributed the party’s ministerial balance may be across regions, communities, and factions.
Siddaramaiah, the former chief minister, is also scheduled to depart for New Delhi on Monday night. According to social observers, he may discuss how his supporters might be represented in the new cabinet with older Congress leaders.
However, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has stated that the party management will begin discussions regarding ministerial meetings and assistant chief minister positions in the coming days.
Shivakumar argued that the party higher order is in charge of the final decision in response to questions about cupboard formation.
The large demand may elect who will become a secretary. I haven’t received any final confirmation regarding the government as of yet,” said Shivakumar.
The Congress administration is expected to finalize the initial list of officials before the occasion, which is scheduled for June 3. The oath-taking service is scheduled for June 3.
