Actor Rashmika Mandanna has shared a fresh set of photos and videos from her Japan trip after attending the Anime Awards in Tokyo. Posting on Instagram, she wrote, “Japan was extra fun this year!” The update gave fans a look at her time on the streets of Japan, its traditional food, and a brief appearance by her husband, Vijay Deverakonda.

The post made it clear that Rashmika was not travelling alone. Along with solo pictures and videos, she shared a few blurry photographs of Vijay as the couple spent time together abroad.

Scenes from Japan

Among the images, Rashmika was seen wearing a traditional Japanese yukata, or lightweight kimono, with an all-over pattern of orange and yellow sunflowers and green leaves. A thin black strap fell over her shoulder, while a broad black obi was tied at the waist. She also wore a gold wristband on her left arm and kept her hands clasped in front.

In another video, she was seen moving playfully across a space filled with rounded, boulder-like mounds painted with neon polka dots. Other pictures showed her walking around and trying local cuisine.

Relationship in focus

Rashmika and Vijay got married on February 26 this year in Udaipur. They later hosted a reception in Hyderabad that was attended by several film personalities, including Ram Charan, Nani, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun. The couple also met fans and distributed sweets.

The two have continued to draw attention online since then. They were also recently seen together at an airport, where a paparazzi video showed them walking out towards their car. Some viewers focused on Vijay’s chain, which appeared to carry a pendant with the letter R.

Before their marriage, Vijay and Rashmika had worked together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. For years, they were linked through dating rumours, with fans often pointing to holidays and pictures from similar locations, though both had maintained that they were close friends.

Films ahead

On the work front, the couple will next be seen together in Ranabaali, their first film together after marriage and their third collaboration overall. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is set between 1854 and 1878 and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 11.

Vijay has also recently started work on VDxShouryuv. Rashmika, meanwhile, will also be seen in Cocktail 2 and Mysaa.
