The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the result of the Additional Private Secretary (APS) Examination 2023, but not a single candidate has been selected. According to an official notice issued by the commission, none of the candidates were able to meet the prescribed minimum typing speed criteria required for qualification.

The recruitment drive was conducted to fill 331 Additional Private Secretary posts. As no candidate qualified for the next stage of the selection process, the commission has decided to carry forward all 331 vacancies for future recruitment.

The first stage of the examination was held on January 7, 2024, and its result was announced on March 4, 2024. A total of 5,889 candidates cleared the preliminary stage and became eligible for the second phase.

The second-stage examination was conducted on June 28 and July 18, 2024, in two shifts. Out of the qualified candidates, 4,240 appeared for the examination. This stage consisted of a Hindi shorthand test carrying 75 marks and a Hindi typing test worth 25 marks.

Candidates were required to achieve a minimum Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute, along with the prescribed typing standards. However, no candidate was able to fulfil the required criteria, resulting in zero selections.

UPPSC has stated that detailed marks and other examination-related information will be uploaded on its official website soon.
