Can you really say you’ve been to Orange without eating one of Farmer Doug’s potatoes? His spuds are the stuff of local food legend, and you can buy his Midnight Pearls and Otway Golds for home use every Saturday morning at East Orange Producers Market.
This is a tiny market, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in top-tier olive oil, artisan sourdough and organic – sometimes biodynamic – fruit and vegetables, plus the odd apple and almond teacake.
