Lauren Bennett, who featured as a vocalist on some of the biggest hits in the 2010s, has died aged 37.
The English singer was launched to fame as part of two girl groups, the Paradiso Girls and GRL (Girls Rock Life), but soared to stardom featuring on LMFAO’s 2011 megahit Party Rock Anthem which topped every major chart across the world and sold millions.
Her death was announced on Tuesday morning in a somber social media post from now-disbanded GRL.
“It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren,” the post reads.
“Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us.
“We will forever cherish the love, laughter and countless memories she gave us.
“Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.”
It is the second tragedy for the dance-pop group, following the tragic death by suicide of member Simone Battle in September 2014.
The girl group had only been formed two years prior and had only reached global stardom with single Ugly Heart, which was certified as a four-time platinum by ARIA.

Former Paradiso Girls member Aria Crescendo also paid tribute to her fallen bandmate.
“Lauren my sister my best friend I can’t believe you left us,” Crescendo said in a post to social media.
“We spoke a week before it all happened and I could not imagine that would be the last time I would be able to talk to you.
“Love you and miss you forever.”
A cause of death has not been made public.
