US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Michael Boulos is in Alappuzha on Saturday as part of a private visit to Kerala.
Boulos, who is married to Trump’s daughter Tiffany Trump, arrived in Kochi earlier in the day. He was accompanied by US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, according to official sources.
Police sources said Boulos may visit tourist destinations in Kochi and neighbouring Alappuzha during his stay. However, authorities have not confirmed details of his itinerary.

Earlier on Saturday, Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan met US Ambassador Sergio Gor in Kochi. Some media reports claimed that Satheesan also held discussions with Boulos, but the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) denied the reports.
“It was an official meeting. Any other report in this regard was wrong,” a government source said, confirming that Satheesan’s meeting was with the US ambassador.
A US Embassy spokesperson said Boulos has been friends with Ambassador Gor for nearly a decade. The spokesperson said Boulos is visiting India for the second time this year to meet his friend and is in the country in his personal capacity, not on an official visit.
