A 62-year-old federal employee in Siddipet city died from his injuries in an alleged assault by his wife, according to police.
The event happened on August 16 next Sunday. According to the Times of India, the dying has been identified as Koti Venkateshwarlu, a corporate income officer in the Asifabad area. He was scheduled to retire at the end of August. His wife works at the government hospital in Husnabad as an auxiliary nurse midwife ( ANM).
The pair reportedly had heated arguments over how to use Venkateshwarlu’s pension benefits and also about their ancestral home at Hanuman Nagar in Husnabad’s Siddipet district on Sunday night.
Family mothers were apparently intervened to resolve after the controversy officially grew past Sunday. Two mothers had visited the woman’s home on Sunday to explain the problems, according to Devender, the younger brother of the deceased.
The few started fighting all over again as they suggested moving the conversation forward on the upcoming Sunday.
Venkateshwarlu was pushed by Rajamani before hitting him in the mind with a mallet lying nearby. He sustained a serious head injury, Devender claimed.
Venkateshwarlu was taken to a personal clinic in Karimnagar where his condition deteriorated and he passed away. The Husnabad state hospital moved the body.
Rajamani has been taken into custody for more questioning on Devender’s problem. Additionally, an analysis is in progress.
