കബനി നദിയില്‍ ചങ്ങാടം മറിഞ്ഞ് ഒരാളെ കാണാതായി

വയനാട്  | പുല്‍പ്പള്ളി വെട്ടത്തൂരില്‍ കബനി നദി കുറുകെ കടക്കുന്നതിനിടെ ചങ്ങാടം മറിഞ്ഞ് മധ്യവയസ്‌കനെ കാണാതായി. വെട്ടത്തൂര്‍ ഊരിലെ ചന്ദ്രനെ(50)യാണ് കാണാതായത്.

പോലീസും വനംവകുപ്പും ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്സും സംയുക്തമായി തിരച്ചില്‍ നടത്തുകയാണ്. നദിയില്‍ ശക്തമായ ഒഴുക്കില്ലെങ്കിലും ആഴം കൂടുതലായത് രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന് തടസം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
