A dispute that began over a money transaction in Jaipur soon turned into a bloody clash. Following a minor altercation, the accused allegedly surrounded a man and stabbed him to death before fleeing the spot.
Police, however, arrested three accused within hours with the help of technical evidence.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Vidyadhar Nagar police station.

According to police, the deceased’s brother, Kayyum, had filed a complaint stating that his brother Rafiq, alias Bakri Chor, had an argument with the accused three to four days earlier over a money transaction.
The dispute allegedly left the accused harbouring a grudge against Rafiq.
Late on August 24, Rafiq’s brother-in-law allegedly called him and got into an abusive argument with him. Rafiq then called his brother Shafique to the spot.
As soon as Rafiq arrived, the accused allegedly attacked Shafique with a knife.
During the altercation, Rafiq’s brother-in-law also allegedly stabbed him. The sudden attack triggered panic at the spot, after which the accused fled.
On receiving information about the incident, Vidyadhar Nagar police reached the spot and began searching for the accused after registering a case.
Police later arrested Mohammad Farid, alias Faddu Chacha, Shahabuddin and Dilshad, alias Dillu.
According to police, preliminary investigation suggests that the murder stemmed from an old dispute and rivalry over a money transaction. The arrested accused are being questioned.
