Harry Daniels says a “reputable” actor refused to go public with their relationship.
The 22-year-old TikTok star, who has gone viral for his videos showing him singing for celebrities, admitted while he has got into some impressive circles, his content isn’t for everyone.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Harry revealed he was previously dating an actor “of some repute”.
However, the outlet noted that the person he was dating “was embarrassed by the videos and unwilling to acknowledge their relationship publicly”.
Harry added: “I was deemed bad for business, if you will.”
He didn’t offer any further details or hints about the identity of the famous face.
Harry isn’t put out by people who don’t enjoy his content, and he’d rather get some reaction than have someone be “indifferent”.
He explained: “The worst thing people can do is have no opinion on something you’re doing.
“If people hate something so much, there’s passion behind it. If they love it, there’s passion. But if they’re indifferent, no one really cares.”
However, Harry himself is ready to move on some singing at celebrities, having turned into a “commodity” and “product” rather than seeing himself “as a person”.
He said: “I did amazing things. I made it to practically every A-list event. I was going to parties with Leonardo DiCaprio and DNC fundraisers.
“It was f****** Timothée Chalamet and I sitting there, and him being like, ‘You’re a trailblazer. I could never do what you do.’ It was all this crazy s***.”
Now, Harry has pivoted to music, moving from Los Angeles to New York and focused on producing his own songs, which has started with debut effort Pull Up.
He noted: “It’s always been the music. If no one takes it serious, it’s a complete failure and it’s a complete bomb… It’s fine.
It’s my Megalopolis, if you will. This is what I do. This is all I know how to do.”
