Working professionals looking to move into strategic leadership roles can now enrol in a new Executive Programme for Chief of Staff launched by the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Delhi.
Offered through IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), the seven-month online programme is designed to help professionals develop the skills needed to work closely with senior leaders, drive organisational priorities and turn business strategy into execution.

FOCUS ON STRATEGY, LEADERSHIP AND EXECUTION
The programme is open to graduate professionals across disciplines and focusses on the growing role of the Chief of Staff within organisations. Participants will learn about strategic thinking, executive leadership support, stakeholder management, decision-making, organisational alignment, business transformation and project execution.
The course also covers technology-driven approaches to help professionals handle complex business situations and balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
The programme combines live expert-led sessions with case studies, practical frameworks, assignments and applied learning activities. Participants will also undertake a capstone project, allowing them to apply the concepts to real-world business scenarios.
An optional campus immersion at IIT Delhi will give participants an opportunity to interact with faculty and peers and experience the institute’s learning environment.
DESIGNED FOR WORKING PROFESSIONALS
The programme is delivered through live online sessions, allowing working professionals to upskill without taking a career break. It is coordinated by Professor Sanjay Dhir, Professor of Strategic Management, and Professor Sonali Jain, Associate Professor of Finance, from the Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi.
The programme coordinators said the Chief of Staff role requires professionals who can bridge strategy and execution, enable collaboration across teams and support informed decision-making. The programme, they said, aims to provide structured frameworks and practical insights to help participants contribute to organisational growth.
The programme is open to graduate professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership capabilities and prepare for strategic roles within organisations.
