A man has been charged after allegedly calling a 13-year-old schoolgirl an “immigrant dog” and “f**king terrorist” on a Sydney bus.

Police arrested the 50-year-old man at a home in Greenacre in Sydney’s southwest about 2.20pm on Tuesday, five days after the alleged attack.

The Year 8 student, known only as Janna, was travelling from Strathfield Railway Station about 3.30pm on Thursday when the alleged verbal abuse erupted.

A man allegedly hurled racial abuse at the girl, calling her an “immigrant dog” and a “terrorist”

Footage obtained by the ABC allegedly captures the man confronting Janna, after she became concerned he was filming her and altered another female passenger.

When the teenager told him she was born in Australia, the man allegedly said: “I don’t give a f**k, you’re a f**king terrorist”.
