Greeted at the gates by local buskers, magicians and performers, it is a high-energy and colourful environment perfect for the kids to jump around and ignite their imaginations. Kids can choose from tempting treats, like the iconic Honeycake or borek from Palace Patisserie (both fly off the shelves). Fremantle is also a great place to walk around. Once you’ve had plenty to eat, you can head to The Esplanade to relax in the park. If sunny enough, the beach is just up the road. If you’re planning on a day at Karrinyup this school holidays, make Ciao Dandy your lunch stop where kids eat with you for a tenner.
