National Australia Bank customers have been hit by a major outage affecting internet and mobile services.
NAB informed customers that it was experiencing issues with a number of its digital services.
A notice on the company’s website described issues across “multiple digital channels”.
It stated services were being disrupted on its internet banking and mobile app services, as well as NAB Connect, Nab Trade, Nab Broker and JBWere services.
“We’re aware that customers are also experiencing issues when contacting us via the phone,” the notice read.
“If your query is not urgent, please contact us at a later stage.”
The bank later confirmed that as of about 5pm AEST, the issues had been “laregely resolved”.
“This afternoon, NAB experienced an issue that impacted some of our digital banking services and phone lines,” a NAB spokesman said.
“Most services have now been restored. Some business customers are continuing to experience login issues via NAB Connect, and we’re working as quickly as possible to resolve the remaining impacts.
“We apologise to customers for the disruption and thank them for their patience and understanding while we continue to restore services.”
