Police have launched a sudden death investigation after binmen discovered a body inside a bin outside a block of flats in Brisbane.
Shortly before noon on Friday, a body was found inside a bin outside a complex on Lambert St in Kangaroo Point.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the person was declared deceased.
Police are yet to officially confirm the gender of the person, but Courier Mail reports they were female.
Forensic offers have remained at the scene throughout the area, with a police cordon put in place while investigations continue.
Queensland Police is also yet to confirm whether the person’s death is being treated as suspicious.
