Actors Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt offered a captivating glimpse of their on-screen chemistry in Love & War as they walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra’s Mijwan Fashion Show in Mumbai. Serving as showstoppers for the high-profile event at Taj Lands End, the duo commanded the runway in ornate traditional ensembles, bringing a blend of haute couture and cinematic anticipation to the evening.

The runway appearance comes amidst heightened excitement surrounding Love & War’s promotional campaign. Alia was seen wearing an ivory embroidered ethnic ensemble featuring a sheer dupatta with intricate white floral embroidery draped over her head, paired with a matching corset blouse and skirt. She accessorised the look with a heavy statement kundan choker necklace, a matching maang tikka, and wrist accessories.
Vicky opted for a deep royal blue velvet sherwani jacket with heavy white floral zardozi embroidery, worn over a white collar-detailed kurta and tailored white trousers.
Earlier today, the makers unveiled two new character posters featuring Vicky Kaushal, further driving interest in the project.
The release follows the earlier launch of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s official looks from the upcoming film.
Directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the project features major cast reunions across its lead trio. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt previously starred together in Brahmastra (2022), Alia and Vicky Kaushal shared screen space in Raazi (2018), while Ranbir and Vicky were last seen together in Sanju (2018).
Behind the camera, Bhansali directs Alia for the second time following Gangubai Kathiawadi. The project also marks his first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor since the actor made his debut in Bhansali’s 2007 feature, Saawariya.
The annual fashion showcase benefits the Mijwan Welfare Society, founded in 1993 by the late Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi to support women and girls in Mijwan, Azamgarh. The NGO is now managed by his daughter, actor Shabana Azmi, with Manish Malhotra collaborating with the organisation for 15 years to feature the artisans’ traditional chikankari embroidery on the runway.
Beyond the runway showstoppers, the fundraiser drew several prominent personalities from the Hindi film industry. Among those spotted on the red carpet were Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, Diana Penty, and filmmaker Boney Kapoor.
