US rock legends Guns N’ Roses have snubbed WA from their 2026 world tour schedule, but did confirm they will be playing in two regional towns on Australia’s east coast.
The enduring rockers, led by Axl Rose, unveiled the first leg of their global travels on Wednesday which will bring them to Asia, Australia and New Zealand from Novemeber.
Fans in Adelaide will get a first taste of the November Rain hitmakers Down Under on November 29.
The band will then travel to the coastal Queensland town of Townsville, then Brisbane, Newcastle on the NSW coast, Melbourne, and will close out their Aussie tour leg in Sydney on December 12.
Unfortunately, fans on the west coast will be forced to take flight in order to see them live.
Guns N’ Roses last played in Australia in 2022 as part of their We’re F’n’ Back! Tour, and launching their national shows at Perth’s Optus Stadium.
They arrived in WA via a private Boeing 777, with their crew totalling 120 people, and stage gear weighing a mammoth ten tonne.
Opting to dodge the west coast altogether this time around, naturally, local fans vented their frustration.
“Townsville and newcastle but no Perth??” one said, in response to the band’s social media tour announcement.
“Townsville and not Perth OUCH!” another wrote.
One more added: “No Perth this time. 🥺”.
Guns N’Roses formed in 1985, with their debut album Appetite for Destruction featuring iconic singles Sweet Child o’ Mine and Welcome to the Jungle.
They have since released six studio albums, two compilation albums, and undertaken many other projects across 40 years in the industry.
