The captain of West Indies – Shai Hope says they would have bowled first had he won the toss, so he is happy with what they are doing. On where the batting can improve, he keeps the focus on consistency with the bat, pointing out that his side has actually batted really well through the series so far. The bigger area to fix, he adds, is with the ball, where the team needs to execute its plans far better. On the exposure for the young players in the squad, Hope rates it highly, pointing out that coming to India and taking on the best team in the world is exactly the kind of challenge that accelerates growth for his younger players. About the team changes, he jokingly says that they have three changes in the playing XI, but he won’t be running his head around remembering all of them.
