A 25-year-old man died by suicide after jumping from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Society in Sector 94, Noida. The impact was so severe that the man’s body was split into two parts.

The victim was identified as Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar, who was staying in an Airbnb at the high-rise.

According to police, Sambhav checked into the Supernova on Friday and was scheduled to check out on Saturday. Before his checkout, he jumped from the building’s 43rd floor.

At the time of the incident, some people were carrying out AC repair work in a nearby flat. They tried to save the man when he was attempting to jump. Sambhav reportedly told the AC mechanic that he was in depression. Despite the attempt to stop him, he jumped from the building.

A distressing video captures the moments before the fall. Sambhav can be seen standing on the outer ledge of a balcony of the high-rise as people on the ground watch and record the situation in alarm. Bystanders can be heard frantically calling security and discussing his position, noting that he had climbed past the railing on a higher floor.

Despite attempts to alert authorities, Sambhav fell from the building. Onlookers reacted with shouts of shock as he hit the ground below. The impact caused severe injuries, and his body was seriously damaged. He died at the spot.

Police reached the spot after the incident and took the body into custody before sending it for post-mortem. An investigation into the case has been initiated.

During the initial investigation, police found that Sambhav was reportedly troubled by debt-related problems. Before the suicide, he allegedly sent his father a WhatsApp message saying that he did not want to live and was going to die by suicide. He also wrote that he himself was responsible for the decision.

However, the exact reason behind the suicide will be established only after the post-mortem and further investigation. Police are continuing to investigate the case and are also gathering information from Sambhav’s family.
