Mumbai: Bigg Boss 20’s Weekend Ka Vaar took a serious turn as Rohit Shetty called out contestants for their ‘gangster’ attitude. Hosting the episode in Salman Khan’s absence, the filmmaker referred to real-life firing incidents while questioning the housemates’ behaviour. His remark comes days after the shooting involving Tiger Shroff.
“Tum kya gangster banke ghoom rahe ho?”
Rohit reportedly pulled up Scout OP, Asif and Yung DSA for repeatedly targeting Qazi Touqeer together. During the confrontation, he delivered a pointed reminder about the violence that film personalities have faced outside the show.
“Yahan humare ghar par goliyan chal rahi hain, tum kya gangster banke ghoom rahe ho?” he said.
The remark drew a sharp distinction between the contestants’ intimidating behaviour inside the house and the reality of facing gunfire. While the Instagram post circulating about the episode connects his words to Tiger’s case, the quoted statement does not mention the actor by name.
Rohit himself faced a security scare in February when shots were fired at his residential building in Mumbai. More recently, Tiger’s car came under fire in Juhu on October 18 as he was leaving a football club.
For the housemates, Rohit’s message was clear: their attempts to project a threatening image had not impressed the host. Will the Weekend Ka Vaar confrontation make them rethink their behaviour
