13-year-old killed in Hyderabad road accident saves six lives

Hyderabad: A 13-year-old girl who was declared brain dead after sustaining severe injuries in a road accident near Balanagar saved the lives of six people by donating her organs, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said on Saturday, October 31.

Guda Rohitha was a Class 9 student at a government school in Kukatpally. Her father, Narayana Rao, came forward to donate her organs.

“Even as she breathed her last, little Rohitha gave six people a new lease of life, leaving behind an inspiring legacy through her selfless act of organ donation. I pray to God that her noble soul rests in peace and extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time.” Sajjanar stated in an X post.
